Steamed Broccoli and Carrots with Lemon Recipe

  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup julienne-cut carrots
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt, or to taste
  1. Place a steamer insert into a saucepan and fill with water to just below the bottom of the steamer. Bring water to a boil. Add broccoli florets and carrots, cover, and steam until tender, about 5 minutes.
  2. Transfer vegetables to a bowl; add lemon juice and seasoned salt and toss to coat.
