Spiced Yogurt Drink Recipe

  • 3 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
  • 2 1/2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Garnish: freshly grated nutmeg; ground cardamom
  1. Remove seeds from cardamom pods (discard pods) and transfer to a blender. Add yogurt, sugar, nutmeg, and water and blend until smooth. If drink is too thick, thin with water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Serve over ice in tall glasses.
