- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (16 ounce) jar ORTEGA® Thick & Chunky Salsa
- 1 (4 ounce) can ORTEGA® Diced Green Chiles
- 12 slices Monterey Jack cheese
- 12 hamburger buns
- COMBINE beef, 3/4 cup salsa, chiles, eggs and salt in large bowl. Shape into 12 patties.
- GRILL or broil for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until no longer pink in center. Top each burger with one slice cheese. Serve on buns with additional salsa.
