KELLOGGS* RICE KRISPIES* Butterscotch Squares Recipe

  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup instant butterscotch pudding mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 6 cups KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal
  1. In a large microwave safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Add butterscotch pudding mix.
  2. Stir in vanilla and KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal until well coated. Using lightly buttered spatula, press into buttered 3.5 L (13 x 9-inch) pan.
  3. Allow mixture to cool slightly. Cut into 5 cm squares. Best if served same day.
