Basil Puree Recipe

  • 1 bunch basil, leaves picked from stems
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  1. Make a paste by crushing basil leaves and salt with a mortar and pestle. Stir in the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
