- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons olive or vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash crushed red pepper flakes
- In a saucepan, combine the first five ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until broccoli is crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Drain; add red pepper flakes and toss.
