- 1 Hass avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 4 (4 ounce) hamburger patties, 1/2inch thick
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 8 slices tomato
- In bowl, combine avocado and lemon juice, mash until creamy. Stir in horseradish, red onion and salt. Place plastic wrap on surface of Yankee Avocado Spread; set aside.
- Over medium-hot coals, grill hamburger patties for 4 to 5minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness. Open up hamburger buns and grill.
- On each grilled bun bottom, layer lettuce and tomato slices. Top with grilled hamburger patty and spoon on Yankee Avocado Spread. Place on bun top. Serve.
