- freshly ground black pepper
- shredded basil leaves
- 1 ball of fresh mozzarella
- 2 slices of prosciutto
- olive oil, for drizzling
- Scatter the freshly ground black pepper and shredded basil leaves on the mozzarella ball.
- Wrap the seasoned ball in the prosciutto slices.
- Heat a little olive oil in a non-stick frying pan and fry the wrapped mozzarella for a few minutes, until the prosciutto is crisp and golden.
- Serve.
