- 3 tablespoons superfine sugar
- 1 lemon wedge
- 2 fluid ounces whiskey
- 1 fluid ounce orange liqueur
- 3/4 fluid ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

- Place sugar in a shallow bowl. Run lemon wedge around the rim of a glass. Dip rim into sugar.
- Combine whiskey, orange liqueur, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker; add ice, cover shaker, and shake for 20 seconds. Strain drink into prepared cocktail glass.
