  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 x 150g/5½oz pork fillet, cut into thin strips
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • ½ red onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp clear honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp cider
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • pinch chilli powder
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 100g/3½oz cheddar, grated
  • ½ red onion, finely sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled and segmented
  • handful fresh mixed herbs (such as parsley, dill, chives)
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges, to garnish
  • 2 slices ciabatta, toasted

  2. Add the sesame seeds and red onion and fry for a further five minutes. Add the honey, stir well and cook for one minute, or until the pork is completely cooked through.
  3. Meanwhile, for the dressing, place all the dressing ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
  4. For the salad, place the cheese, onion, orange and herbs into a bowl and mix well. Pour over the dressing and stir to coat.
  5. To serve, place the salad onto a plate and top with the crispy pork. Serve with lime wedges and toasted ciabatta.
