- Crushed ice
- Slice lemon
- Superfine sugar to taste
- 1 1/2 ounces rum or brandy
- Freshly brewed, hot tea
- Fresh mint sprigs
- Fill a 14-ounce collins glass three-quarters full with crushed ice. Add the lemon slice, sugar and rum or brandy. Fill up with tea and stir gently. Garnish with mint.
