- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, undrained
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- salt to taste
- Heat oil in a large heavy pot over medium heat. Stir in onions and cook until tender, about 4 minutes.
- Add garlic, chili powder and Italian seasoning. Stir in turkey, cooking until meat is brown. Add black beans, tomatoes and red wine vinegar. Season with salt to taste.
- Bring chili to boil, reduce heat and simmer partially covered to blend flavors, about 25 minutes. Serve.
