Tricolor Salad with Honey-Cumin Dressing Recipe

  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 head butter lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
  • 1 large watercress bunch, stems trimmed
  • 1 large head radicchio, torn into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 oranges, peeled, sliced crosswise into rounds
  1. Whisk first 5 ingredients in small bowl to blend. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place remaining ingredients in large bowl. Toss salad with enough dressing to season to taste.
