Tomato spirals Recipe
- 125g/4½oz ready-made puff pastry
- 4 tsp tomato puree
- 30g/1oz cheddar, grated
- 4 fresh basil leaves, shredded
- Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
- Roll the dough out on a floured worked surface to a 3mm/â in thickness.
- Spread the tomato puree all ove the pastry. Sprinkle over the cheddar and basil.
- Roll the pastry up tightly, then cut it into 12 slices. Place the slices, cut-side up onto the baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden-brown.
