- ½ cup home-made or commercial mayonnaise
- ¼ cup chile sauce
- 1 shallot or green onion (white part only) finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon chopped red or green bell pepper
- Salt and white pepper
- In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, chile sauce, shallot or onion, and red or green bell pepper. Season with salt and white pepper to taste.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve, up to 3 days.
