Tangy Summertime Lentils and Radish Recipe

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup dry lentils
  • 1 pinch salt, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped radishes
  1. Combine water, lentils, and salt in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; stir in balsamic vinegar and sugar. Cover and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until lentils are tender, about 20 minutes.
  2. Transfer lentils to a bowl. Add radishes; toss to combine.
