Sunrise Smoothies Recipe

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 dates
  • 2 cups nonfat plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 banana
  1. Ahead of time: Combine water and dates in a microwave-safe measuring cup. Cover with vented plastic wrap. Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  2. In the morning: Process yogurt, juice concentrate, honey, vanilla, banana, and date mixture in blender until blended, 30 to 60 seconds. Serve immediately.
