Streusel Recipe
- ½ cup (100 grams) light brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup (100 grams) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (140 grams) unsifted all purpose flour
- 4 ounces (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
- Combine the sugars in a small bowl with your fingertips, breaking up any lumps. Add the flour and mix to combine.
- Cut the butter into 8 pieces and scatter them over surface. Work the butter in with your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Storing the Streusel: Refrigerate it in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 1 month.
