Strawberries and Bananas with Chocolate-Coconut Sauce Recipe

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1 pint strawberries
  • 2 ripe bananas, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup dried unsweetened coconut
  1. Heat the coconut milk in a small saucepan until almost boiling. Take the milk off the heat, add the chocolate chips, cover, and let stand for 2 or 3 minutes.
  2. Uncover and add the vanilla and maple syrup. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Divide the strawberries and bananas among 4 dessert bowls or tall parfait glasses. Drizzle the chocolate sauce over each serving and then sprinkle with a tbsp. of coconut.
