- For shrimp:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon Creole seasoning
- 6 ounces large shrimp (with shells)
- For sauce:
- 1 tablespoon light butter, melted
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/4 tablespoon Creole seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 pinch Salt and pepper to taste
- Add water, lemon juice, and Creole seasoning to a saucepan over high heat. Bring to rapid boil, then add the shrimp, and cover. Cook approximately 1 minute, stir, and cook another 1 to 2 minutes until shrimp are cooked through. Pour the shrimp into a strainer to cool slightly.
- Mix all remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
- Peel and devein the shrimp when cool enough to handle. In a bowl, toss shrimp with butter mixture. Serve immediately.
