- 1 (17 ounce) package prepared pizza crust with sauce
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 pound Archer Farms™ hot Italian bulk sausage
- 1/2 cup thinly-sliced red onion
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Spread sauce packet over crust.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and onion. Cook 7 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink and onion is tender. Drain.
- Top pizza with cooked sausage mixture, dollops of ricotta and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
