Spiced beef salad Recipe
- 300g/12oz T-bone steak, bone removed
- 1 tsp Cajun spice seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- small handful each fresh chervil, basil and parsley
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
- squeeze lime juice
- Rub the steak with the Cajun spice and drizzle with oil. Heat a frying pan until smoking hot, add the steak and sear on all sides for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the garlic and fry for one minute. Remove from the heat and leave to rest for five minutes. Slice thinly.
- To serve, pile the herbs onto a serving plate. Top with the sliced steak and drizzle with balsamic vinegar, lime juice and a dash of olive oil.
