Slow Cooker Pork and Apples Recipe

  • 1 1/4 cups Market Pantry™ apple juice
  • 2 teaspoons sage
  • 1 large onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 (2 1/2 pound) pork loin roast
  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, seeded and thickly sliced
  1. Mix apple juice, sage and onion in 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker. Season roast with salt and pepper. Add roast with salt and pepper, turning to coat with liquid.
  2. Cover and cook on High 5 to 6 hours or on Low 8 to 9 hours until meat is tender. During the last half hour of cooking, stir in the apples.
  3. To serve, slice roast and serve with the apples, onions and pan juices.
