- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed and softened
- Melt butter in a large skillet; add cabbage and green pepper and toss to coat. Stir in water, salt and pepper. Cover; simmer for 8-10 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Add cream cheese; stir until melted.
