- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Cloves
- 1 dash Spice Islands® Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® 100% Pure Bourbon Vanilla Extract
- 3 cups quick OR old fashioned oats
- 1 cup raisins
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cumin, cloves, cayenne pepper, soda, and salt in a large bowl; set aside.
- Beat butter and sugars in a large bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, mix until just combined. Stir in oats and raisins.
- Drop by level tablespoon 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden. Cool 1 minute on baking sheet before transferring to cooling rack.
