- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 5 cloves garlic
- 4 cups ketchup
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Combine the olive oil, onion and garlic. Saute in a skillet until the onions are transparent.
- Add the remaining ingredients, in order. Stir to combine. Cook over low heat for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
