- 1 (20 ounce) package Simply Potatoes® Shredded Hash Browns
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups Crystal Farms® Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In medium bowl stir together Simply Potatoes(R), salt and pepper. Spread half of Simply Potatoes(R) into bottom of prepared pan. Top with 1 cup cheese. Spread with remaining Simply Potatoes(R). Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
- In small bowl stir together chicken broth and cream. Pour over Simply Potatoes(R). Place butter pieces randomly over potatoes. Bake, uncovered, 40 to 45 minutes or until potatoes are golden brown and tender.
