Shrimp Cacciatore Recipe

  • 2 tablespoons O Organics™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 pound large Waterfront BISTRO® Shrimp 21-25 size, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt for seasoning shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper for seasoning shrimp
  • 1/2 cup red and green bell pepper strips, cut into 1 inch strips, ¼ inch thick
  • 1/2 medium red onion, sliced into ¼ inch strips
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1 1/2 cups Safeway Select® Sun-dried Tomato & Olive Pasta Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  1. Warm the olive oil in a 12 inch non-stick sauté pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Sauté seasoned shrimp for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the onions, garlic and peppers, cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low, add pasta sauce, simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Add parsley and serve.
