Shrimp Cacciatore Recipe
- 2 tablespoons O Organics™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 pound large Waterfront BISTRO® Shrimp 21-25 size, thawed
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt for seasoning shrimp
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper for seasoning shrimp
- 1/2 cup red and green bell pepper strips, cut into 1 inch strips, ¼ inch thick
- 1/2 medium red onion, sliced into ¼ inch strips
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
- 1 1/2 cups Safeway Select® Sun-dried Tomato & Olive Pasta Sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
- Warm the olive oil in a 12 inch non-stick sauté pan over medium-high heat.
- Sauté seasoned shrimp for 2 minutes.
- Add the onions, garlic and peppers, cook for 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low, add pasta sauce, simmer for 4-5 minutes.
- Add parsley and serve.
