- ½ tsp dried chilli flakes
- 25g/1oz sesame seeds
- 100g/3½oz hake (chopped into five pieces)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
- Mix the chilli and sesame in a bowl and toss the hake in the mixture until coated.
- Heat the oil a frying pan and fry the hake for two minutes on each side.
- Place in the oven and cook for five minutes, or until cooked through, then season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Serve in a warm bowl.
