Seared Scallops Recipe

  • 4 ounces Archer Farms™ fettucine
  • 1 cup Archer Farms™ puttanesca pasta sauce
  • 6 Archer Farms™ frozen sea scallops, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon Market Pantry™ all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Archer Farms Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons pesto
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, in small saucepan heat sauce over low heat until hot.
  3. Rinse scallops with cold water and pat dry with paper towel. Place flour in small bowl. Dip both sides of each scallop in flour. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
  4. In small skillet heat oil over medium heat until hot. Cook scallops 6 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Spoon pesto over scallops.
  5. To serve place pasta on individual serving plates. Top with sauce. Place scallops on top of sauce.
