Roquefort Chicken Sandwich Recipe

  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 slices SARA LEE® Soft and Smooth Whole Grain White Bread
  • 1 head leaf lettuce – separated into leaves, rinsed and dried
  • 2 cooked skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Roquefort cheese salad dressing
  1. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, and set aside.
  2. Lightly toast bread, and place individual slices on serving plates. Arrange lettuce leaves on top of each slice, followed by a chicken breast. Drizzle an 1/8 of a cup of Roquefort dressing over each open sandwich, and top with 2 slices of bacon.
