- Nature's Seasons® Roasted Garlic recipe
- 2 whole heads garlic
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Morton® Nature's Seasons® Seasoning Blend
- 1/4 pound sliced prosciutto or smoked ham, chopped
- 2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Morton® Nature's Seasons® Seasoning Blend
- 1 (1 pound) loaf thin Italian or French bread, split horizontally
- 2 cups grated Gruyere cheese
- Make cut along garlic tip to expose top of cloves. Place heads on foil. Drizzle with oil; sprinkle with Nature's Seasons(R) seasoning blend. Wrap completely in foil. Grill over hot coals (or bake in 350 degrees F oven, 1 hour) until cloves soften and turn light brown. Set aside for appetizer bread.
- Squeeze roasted garlic from skin into food processor. Add prosciutto; puree with on/off motion until smooth. Stir in parsley and Nature's Seasons(R) seasoning blend. Spread mixture evenly over bread halves. Top with grated cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes or broil until cheese melts to a light golden brown. Slice into serving pieces.
