Quick Linguini Bolognese Recipe

  • 1 (16 ounce) package Archer Farms™ linguine pasta
  • 6 slices Archer Farms™ hickory-smoked premium bacon, finely chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) package sliced baby portabella mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red wine
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
  • 1 (25.5 ounce) jar Archer Farms™ tomato basil pasta sauce
  1. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
  2. Meanwhile, cook bacon in large skillet over medium heat until crisp, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms and cook 2 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Stir in wine and cook, stirring constantly, until wine evaporates. Remove bacon and mushrooms from pan and reserve.
  3. Cook beef in same skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in reserved bacon mixture, cream and pasta sauce. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer until hot.
  4. Top hot cooked pasta with sauce. Add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, if you like.
