Quick Cheese Grits Recipe

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 6 tablespoons quick-cooking grits
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • Pinch of paprika
  1. Combine water, grits, salt and garlic powder in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce to a simmer, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until desired consistency. Remove from the heat and stir in cheese and paprika, stirring until the cheese melts.
