Puttanesca Sauce for BOCA® Italian Sausage Recipe

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 plum tomato, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sliced pitted ripe olives
  • 1 teaspoon capers, drained
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 BOCA Meatless Italian Sausage
  • 1 sandwich roll, partially split
  1. COOK sausage as directed on package. Meanwhile, heat oil in small saucepan on medium-high heat.
  2. ADD tomato, olives, capers, garlic and red pepper flakes; cook 2 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
  3. FILL roll with sausage; top with tomato mixture.
