Prawn lollipops Recipe

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 king prawns, shells removed, de-veined
  • 4 small wooden skewers
  • 1 orange, cut in half
  • handful chervil, to serve
  1. For the marinade, place the honey, lemon juice, sesame seeds and olive oil in a small bowl and whisk until combined.
  2. For the prawns, put the prepared prawns in the bowl, coat with the marinade and leave for five minutes. Remove and thread one prawn onto each of the four skewers.
  3. Heat a griddle pan and place the prawn skewers in the pan for 2-3 minutes each side, or until they are pink and cooked through.
  4. Place one half of the orange in the centre of a plate and arrange the chervil around the edge.
  5. To serve, stick the ends of the skewers into the orange half.
