- 1 (6 1/2-inch) diameter pita circle
- 1/4 cup red onion slivers
- 1/2 cup portobello mushroom caps, chopped
- Salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
- 3/4 ounce crumbled Gorgonzola or blue cheese
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic spread (such as Gourmet Garden)
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves
- Olive oil spray
- 2 teaspoons A-1 sauce
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Put pita circle directly on oven rack and cook 4 to 6 minutes per side, or until just crisped through.
- Preheat medium frying pan over medium heat. Spray with olive oil spray, then add onions and mushrooms. Cook until tender. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and stir in gorgonzola. 3. Spread garlic over crisped pita, then top with mushroom mixture and sprinkle with rosemary. Drizzle A-1 over the top if desired. Cut into four wedges and serve immediately.
