- 2 peaches, skinned and halved
- 100ml/3½fl oz brandy
- splash of water
- 85g/3oz caster sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- splash cream
- Heat the oven to 250C/500F/Gas 9.
- Place the peaches, brandy, a splash of water and sugar in an oven-proof frying pan and place in the hot oven.
- Bake for ten minutes.
- Remove from the oven and set the peaches aside leaving the syrup in the pan.
- Place on a hob at a high heat and add the butter and cream and reduce for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the peaches and serve.
