- 6 cups julienned red cabbage
- 3 tablespoons vinegar, regular or white wine
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
- Dash of pepper
- Fill large pot with water and bring to a boil.
- Place cabbage in boiling water and return water to boil. Blanch the cabbage for up to 1 minute. Drain cabbage very well.
- In a small bowl, mix remaining ingredients well. Pour over the cabbage and toss. Let stand until cool.
