Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich Recipe

  • 1 large container Fresh Cuts™ Fajita Vegetables
  • 8 ounces pre-sliced portobello mushrooms
  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1 1/2 cups Market Pantry™ Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 4 Archer Farms™ Demi Baguettes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  1. Prepare baguettes according to package instructions.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the fajita vegetables and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Next add the mushrooms with 1 teaspoon salt and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the flank steak, season with salt and pepper then saute until the meat is cooked to desired doneness.
  4. Remove pan from heat and sprinkle cheese over the top. Cover the pan and set aside until the cheese melts.
  5. Fill the prepared rolls with the meat mixture and serve immediately.
