Peach, Lime, and Cardamom Sauce Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 4 (8- to 9-ounce) peaches, peeled, halved, pitted, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  1. Place lime juice in medium bowl. Add peaches and toss to coat. Stir 1 cup water, sugar, and cardamom in medium saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat; boil until syrup is reduced to generous 1/3 cup, stirring often, about 8 minutes. Mix hot syrup into peaches. Cool. DO AHEAD Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover; chill.
