Orange Crisps Recipe

  • 1 (1 pound) loaf very thin sliced white bread
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated
  • 3 tablespoons freshly grated orange peel
  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
  2. Remove crusts from bread with a serrated edge or an electric knife. Cut slices in half.
  3. Stir together butter, SPLENDA(R) Granulated Sweetener, and orange peel. Spread butter mixture thinly onto each side of bread. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes or until dry and crisp, turning after 20 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool. Store in an air-tight tin.
