Orange Crisps Recipe
- 1 (1 pound) loaf very thin sliced white bread
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated
- 3 tablespoons freshly grated orange peel
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
- Remove crusts from bread with a serrated edge or an electric knife. Cut slices in half.
- Stir together butter, SPLENDA(R) Granulated Sweetener, and orange peel. Spread butter mixture thinly onto each side of bread. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until dry and crisp, turning after 20 minutes. Transfer to wire racks to cool. Store in an air-tight tin.
