- 1 cup white sugar
 - 1 cup packed brown sugar
 - 1 cup butter
 - 1 cup vegetable oil
 - 1 egg
 - 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
 - 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
 - 1 cup flaked coconut
 - 1 cup chopped walnuts
 - 1 cup crisp rice cereal
 - 1 cup rolled oats
 - 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
 
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until well blended.
 - Drop on greased cookie sheets and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
