Olive Tapenade on Baguettes Recipe

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 1/4 cups pitted black olives
  • 4 drained canned anchovy fillets
  • 2 tablespoons drained capers
  • 5 tablespoons Safeway SELECT Verdi Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  1. In a food processor, whirl garlic and thyme leaves until minced. Add olives, anchovy fillets, capers, olive oil, and lemon juice. Whirl until coarsely pureed; scrape container as needed. Spoon onto baguette slices. Remainder can be chilled airtight up to 1 month.
