Ogge Recipe

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 ounces sugar syrup
  • 1 quart beer
  • Nutmeg
  1. Beat the egg yolks until light and lemon-colored, then stir in the sugar syrup. Heat the beer to just under the boiling point and slowly add to the sweetened egg yolks, beating constantly.
  2. Serve in warmed 8-ounce mugs and grate nutmeg on top of each.
