- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 nectarine cut in half, stone removed
- 50ml/2fl oz white wine
- 1 tbsp clear honey
- 1 tbsp double cream
- Heat the brown sugar in a frying pan over a high heat, until melted.
- Place the nectarines cut-side down into the sugar and cook for one minute.
- Add the wine and honey and boil, unitl the liquid has reduced in volume by half.
- Remove the nectarines and keep warm, then add the cream to the sauce, bring to the boil and stir until thickened.
- To serve, place the nectarines cut side down onto a plate and drizzle over the sauce.
