Moroccan Roasted Chicken Recipe

  • 1 (3 to 3 1/2 pound) whole chicken
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Archer Farms™ Moroccan seasoning blend rub
  • 1/2 orange, quartered
  • 1/2 small onion, peeled and quartered
  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Rinse chicken inside and out with cold water; pat dry with paper towels. Place in shallow baking pan.
  2. Brush butter over outside of chicken; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the rub. Sprinkle remaining rub inside chicken. Place orange and onion pieces inside chicken. Secure legs and wings.
  3. Bake 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours or until leg twists easily in socket, and chicken is no longer pink in the center.
