Molten Madness Cupcakes Recipe

  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 (22.5 ounce) box Betty Crocker® Original Supreme brownie mix (with chocolate syrup pouch)
  • 1/2 cup Betty Crocker stars, confetti or critters decor
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease muffin pan or use Halloween paper cups. Microwave chocolate chips and butter in bowl until melted; stir until smooth.
  2. Beat eggs and egg yolks in a large bowl until foamy. Reserve chocolate syrup pouch from mix. Beat dry brownie mix into eggs until blended. Stir in melted chocolate mixture. Fill muffin cups 1/2 full with brownie mixture. Top each with 1/2 teaspoon of Halloween decor. Spoon in remaining mixture.
  3. Bake 11 to 14 minutes, or until edges are set. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Centers should be soft. Cool cupcakes in pan for 2 minutes.
  4. Loosen cupcakes with knife and turn upside down onto tray. Drizzle reserved chocolate syrup over tops. Sprinkle with Halloween decor.
