- 1 1/2 ounces sherry
 - 1 1/2 ounces sloe gin
 - 2 tablespoons superfine sugar
 - 4 tablespoons lemon juice
 - 3 or 4 ice cubes
 - Twist lemon peel
 - Chilled club soda
 
- Combine sherry, sloe gin, sugar, lemon juice and ice cubes in a mixing glass and stir well. Strain into a highball glass, add the lemon peel and fill up with soda.
