- 1 (16 ounce) box Barilla® Mini Wheels
- 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 tablespoons minced onions
- 1/3 cup julienned fully cooked ham
- 1/4 cup frozen peas
- 4 medium plum tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- In a large skillet saute onions in olive oil over medium heat. Add the ham and cook until slightly crispy, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the peas and saute for 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes; season with salt and pepper.
- Cook pasta according to directions.
- Drain the pasta and toss with sauce and cheese.
